Find A Solar Installer Near You

Tips for looking for a solar installer

A few things to keep in mind before you choose a solar installer.

1. 1Get at least three quotes to compare equipment quality, warranties, and long-term financing options.
2. 2Ensure the installer is NABCEP certified and holds all necessary local electrical and roofing licenses.
3. 3Ask for a detailed roof assessment to confirm structural integrity before panels are mounted.
4. 4Verify if the company uses in-house installers or subcontractors to ensure consistent workmanship quality.
5. 5Request a written production guarantee that outlines expected energy output for the first ten years.
6. 6Check local references and online reviews specifically mentioning the company's post-installation customer support.
